How to cope with my first dog�s death?does his buddy know hes dead?

Well, the only way i think you can cope is to begin looking at other dogs. I'm fourteen too, my dog Kotar died, and I began working at the humane society with other dogs. Soon after, i ended up with Koa and Iris, and Rocky. They're amazing dogs! I love them so much. I still miss Kotar, but i LOVE my new dogs. they have really helped me cope with the loss. Try volunteering at a shelter, or looking for another dog. I know it seems hard but it will be less hard than "just" coping, rather than trying. If i were you, i would rather run on shattered glass than just stand in it if you know what i mean.
